CLUBELEVEN 2023 Photo Contest
Voting for our 2023 North American Soccer Photo Contest is now open.
Our judges have narrowed down the field and selected five (5) finalists from each of the following three (3) photo categories: Soccer Fandom, Match Action, and Growing the Game. Now, we need your help deciding the winners.

Photography has the power to grow the game in North America. With another historic year for soccer in the books, our 2nd Annual Photo Contest will look to highlight the work of photographers who have excelled at capturing the beauty of the sport on our shores in 2023.
Starting December 28th, photographers can submit entries in three categories (soccer fandom, match action, and growing the game) for special prizes and a chance to be featured.
We look forward to seeing your submissions to this second annual installment of the North American Soccer Photo Contest, hosted by CLUBELEVEN, and presented by Golaço Kits, Worldie, and The 1st Half Culture Show.
CATEGORIES:
We invite photographers in the North American Soccer community to submit their photographs for the following three categories:
Soccer Fandom | Presented by The 1st Half: The people. Photographs capturing the essence of soccer fandom in North America.
Match Action | Presented by Worldie: The game. Goals, reactions, saves, celebrations — anything on the field during matchday.
Growing the Game | Presented by Golaço Kits: Rising together. Your creative representation of growing the beautiful game in North America.
HOW TO ENTER:
Please submit photographs and requested information HERE.
Submissions must have been taken in the 2023 calendar year, in North America.
You may submit one (1) photograph per category for a contest total of three (3) photos.
Images from all leagues, age groups, and levels of play in North America are welcome.
Captions (one to two sentences) are required in order to provide context for our judges.
In order to be properly displayed in our online gallery, photographs must be submitted in .jpeg or .jpg format, edited for web in sRGB color space, and be at least 2,000 pixels on the long edge, and no larger than 10 MB.
Entry Deadline: The contest begins on December 28th, 2023. All entries must be received through clubelevenmag.com by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time on January 10th, 2024.
PRIZES:
The winner of CLUBELEVEN’s 2023 Grand Prize will be awarded a USD $200 Visa Gift Card delivered by email.
The winners of the three sub-categories “Soccer Fandom” 2023, “Match Action” 2023, and “Growing the Game” 2023 will each be awarded a USD $100 Visa Gift Card delivered by email.
The Overall Community Winner will be awarded a USD $150 Visa Gift Card delivered by email.
Winners will be notified via email by February 1st, 2024.
Please note it is possible to win both a category prize and the grand prize.
WINNER SELECTIONS:
Photo entries will be judged based on creativity, quality, originality, responsiveness to the prompt, and overall impact. Our judging process will take place as follows:
Judges will select 5 finalists for each of the 3 categories (15 total finalists).
Community vote will determine winners from each category’s judge-picked finalists, as well as crown an overall Community Winner.
Judges will determine the 2023 Grand Prize Winner from the 15 judge-picked finalists.
The 15 finalists (5 per category) will be notified of their status and appear on our website in January 2024. At that time, the public can vote on our website for a winner in each of the three categories plus an overall community winner. The winners are to be revealed in the first week of February.
These dates may be subject to change. CLUBELEVEN will notify winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry; CLUBELEVEN may disqualify anyone who fails to respond to the notification within five business days.

Terms and Conditions:
Anyone can enter the competition. The competition will close on January 10th, 2024 at 11:59PM EST. All entries must be received before this time. Only one entry per named entrant and email address will be accepted.
Every entrant can submit up to a maximum of one (1) photo per category, for a total of three (3) photos. Only online submissions will be accepted.
Photograph entries must be under 10 MB and must be submitted in .jpg or .png format. All submissions must be the entrant’s own work.
If the selected winner is unreachable, ineligible, disqualified or fails to claim the prize [within 10 days of notification], the winner automatically forfeits the prize.
By entering, the entrant is agreeing to all the terms and conditions, and also agreeing to allow clubelevenmag.com to use and publish the winning entry on clubelevenmag.com’s website and social media channels.
Once submitted, we reserve the right to use any of the photos submitted to clubelevenmag.com and may be subjected to any future usage for contest purposes. Online Features: CLUBELEVEN may selects photos for highlight on its website and/or display in a publicly accessible contest archive. Such selections will be made in CLUBELEVEN’s sole discretion.
All entries should be made using the entrant’s legal name. Any dishonest information provided by the entrant will be disqualified.
Use of your personal data: Participation in the contest requires the collection of your name and email address. By entering this contest, you are consenting to the use of your name and email address for further communications regarding this contest.
CLUBELEVEN reserves the right to modify these rules, suspend or discontinue the Competition at any time, including without limitation where it is necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or if it cannot be guaranteed that the Competition can be carried out correctly for technical or legal reasons or if CLUBELEVEN suspects that any person has been manipulating the administration of the contest or has acted unethically in any other way. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
CLUBELEVEN retains sole discretion to refuse entrants the right to enter if we feel that these terms and conditions are not being complied with or for any valid and justifiable reason.
CLUBELEVEN reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time in its absolute discretion.
The determination and decision of CLUBELEVEN on all matters shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All images submitted must have been produced in North America.
